This 60-minute yoga practice is designed to build mobility, strength, balance, and recovery for climbers of all levels. Expect a steady, alignment-focused flow that combines breath-centered movement, functional strength, flexibility training, and mindful awareness. Classes emphasize shoulder mobility, hip opening, core stability, and recovery from climbing-specific tension patterns. Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike, this class helps improve movement efficiency on the wall while supporting overall wellness and injury prevention.

Develop the ability to produce force quickly, an essential component of athletic performance. This class will challenge your ability to execute movements with speed and precision, thereby contributing to potential improvements in overall movement quality. We will use medicine balls, kettlebells, landmine exercises, dumbbells, and body weight. All ability levels are welcome.

This class is built to help you move better in your actual life, not just on your mat.
Expect a supportive, accessible flow that focuses on smart alignment, clear cues, and building strength and mobility in a way that works for your body. Whether you’re brand new or more experienced, you’ll be guided with options and explanations that help you understand why you’re moving, not just what to do.
Offering a strong emphasis on breath, control, and meeting yourself where you are. No forcing shapes or chasing extremes. (You don’t need a standing split… you just need to be able to put your socks on without falling over.)
You’ll leave feeling more stable, more aware, and more capable in both your practice and your day-to-day movement.

After you have become proficient at top rope belaying, this class will advance your skills. Lead climbing allows you to climb on all of our walls and gives you a more realistic climbing experience. Our knowledgeable instructors will help you untie from the top rope and tie into the sharp end in a controlled environment.

You will learn how to lead climb and lead belay. You will also learn how to utilize scenario-based belay techniques to provide the climber with a soft catch in the event of a fall.

In this unhurried, meditative class, the hold times for each posture are long and intentional. A variety of (provided) props ensures that every student can access all poses, regardless of experience level. This is a deliberately calming, slow-paced class. Where other forms of yoga engage and challenge muscles, these sessions focus on stretching and stressing the connective tissues, helping you gain flexibility. In our softly-lit studio, engage in grounding postures, breathwork, and longer meditations intended to promote deep relaxation.

This class is perfect for youth climbers (under 14) who want a structured introduction to climbing in the gym. After completing the class, your climber will know how to operate the gym’s auto-belay stations, climb on the bouldering wall and get a general introduction to rope climbing. Most importantly, your climber will learn the fundamental climbing techniques needed to be successful at the gym.

Each class rotates through a mix of squats, lunges, hip-hinge moves, and glute work using the Steel Shop’s functional equipment. A slow, grounding practice designed to help you end the week by releasing tension and stepping out of constant doing into supported stillness. This class invites the nervous system to settle into a “rest and digest” state, supporting the body’s natural recovery processes.
Through long-held, gentle shapes and fully support postures, you’ll experience a blend of yin (targeting connective tissue and joint health) and restorative (passive, prop-supported relaxation). Bolsters, blankets, and blocks create comfort and ease, allowing the body to soften without effort.
Especially supportive after a full week of climbing or training, this practice helps balance intensity with stillness and recovery.
Each session includes meditative guidance and subtle sound elements to quiet the mind and deepen the reset.
Space is held for you to fully unplug. Nothing to track, nothing to do, just room to rest and restore.
