This class is perfect for new climbers who want to use every area of the gym. After completing the class, you will know how to top rope belay, operate the gym’s auto-belay stations, and climb on the bouldering wall. Strengthen every major muscle group in your lower body with this focused, high-energy training session. Each class rotates through a mix of squats, lunges, hip-hinge moves, and glute work using the Steel Shop’s functional equipment. After a quick mobility warm-up, you’ll move through targeted strength blocks and finish with a short power burst. Fitness isn't one-size fit all. Modifications offered for all body types.

LEVEL: BEGINNER

After completing our Bouldering Skills class, you will have the skills needed to begin a regular bouldering routine. You will learn how to properly fall onto a padded floor, warm up for and structure a proper bouldering session, and identify and practice skills. You will also learn about bouldering terminology and proper etiquette. We will help you overcome the social barriers to climbing and understand how climbers work together while bouldering.

Bouldering relies on padded flooring rather than ropes and harnesses for protection. Climbers generally only climb between 10 and 15 feet high. For that reason, no additional equipment other than the padded floor is needed. This class is ideal for climbers who are new to the sport and want to establish a dependable foundation of skills.

A slow, grounding practice designed to help you end the week by releasing tension and stepping out of constant doing into supported stillness. This class invites the nervous system to settle into a “rest and digest” state, supporting the body’s natural recovery processes.
Through long-held, gentle shapes and fully support postures, you’ll experience a blend of yin (targeting connective tissue and joint health) and restorative (passive, prop-supported relaxation). Bolsters, blankets, and blocks create comfort and ease, allowing the body to soften without effort.
Especially supportive after a full week of climbing or training, this practice helps balance intensity with stillness and recovery.
Each session includes meditative guidance and subtle sound elements to quiet the mind and deepen the reset.
Space is held for you to fully unplug. Nothing to track, nothing to do, just room to rest and restore.

This workshop will introduce AcroYoga, is combination of partner yoga and acrobatics. The poses may look challenging, but they are actually more attainable than you may think. AcroYoga cultivates communication, trust, self confidence and fun! In this workshop you will learn how to base, fly and spo basic AcroYoga poses. Proper body mechanics will be taught so you can confidently life and be lifted into the poses. Sign up with a partner or come solo, either way, be prepared to laugh and have fun!

Develop the ability to produce force quickly, an essential component of athletic performance. This class will challenge your ability to execute movements with speed and precision, thereby contributing to potential improvements in overall movement quality. In this unhurried, meditative class, the hold times for each posture are long and intentional. A variety of (provided) props ensures that every student can access all poses, regardless of experience level. This is a deliberately calming, slow-paced class. Where other forms of yoga engage and challenge muscles, these sessions focus on stretching and stressing the connective tissues, helping you gain flexibility. In our softly-lit studio, engage in grounding postures, breathwork, and longer meditations intended to promote deep relaxation.
